Board of Directors

Board Members have a legal responsibility to participate actively in making decisions on behalf of the organization and to exercise his or her best judgment while doing so. Member’s must put the interests of the organization before their personal and professional interests when acting on behalf of the organization in a decision-making capacity and ensures the organization complies with the applicable federal, state, and local laws and adheres to its mission.

Board Members must be able to meet four (4) times per year - quarterly and committed to making all financial obligations associated with membership.

scholarship committee

Established by the Board of Directors, this committee makes decisions concerning scholarship eligibility, reviews and selects qualified applicants for awards, oversees HBCU Portal Programs applications for participation.

Committee meets twice per year for Fall and Spring awards and as needed for HBCU Portal Programs.

Career Connections Program

In need of volunteers to have one on one meetings/coaching sessions with HBCU students or recent grads. This program will prepare, vetted students, for placement with paid internships and long-term career opportunities.
